The
Acoma Pueblo is considered the oldest continually inhabited
village in the United States. The above drawing is of the
Acoma Pueblo as it might have looked over 100 years ago. Located
near Albuquerque, New Mexico, it is famous for its beautiful
pottery and architecture. By analyzing the pottery, archaeologists
have determined that this village was settled about 1,000
years ago.
